The NGV is offering free access for tertiary students to an interesting conversation on this Sunday:
This lecture explores a number of men's dress cultures, of the rake the macaroni; the servant to the courtier; of the Incroyable to the revolutionary street gangs called the jeunesse dorée (gilded youth) and the muscadins, those aspects of court dress as an insult to the authorities and the Sans-culottes.
